Anna Maria is a barrier Island broken into 3 separate cities; Bradenton Beach, Holmes Beach and Anna Maria. A vacation on Anna Maria Island will bring you days of shopping, touring the Island, or enjoying the beautiful white sugar sand beaches surrounding the Gulf of Mexico, where the water is so clear you can see your feet! Our wonderful beaches - Coquina, Cortez, Greer Island, or Manatee Public Beach offer fun for the whole family. Coquina Beach has a Playground, Fishing, Picnic Tables, Concessions, Volleyball, Restrooms, Picnic Shelter/Grills and Lifeguards are currently on duty from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., DST in the summer and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., EST in the winter months. Cotez Beach and Greer Island has has fishing. Manatee Beach has a Playground, Fishing, Concessions, Volleyball, Picnic Tables, Restrooms, and Lifeguards are currently on duty from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., DST in the summer and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., EST in the winter months.
